Senior Associate

Kylee has been working with Bryan Mitchell and the Mitchells team for over 20 years.  She practices in estate administration and also heads the family law team.  

Kylee holds a Bachelor of Laws from QUT as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Asian Studies from Griffith University which were completed simultaneously.  She also holds a Master of Laws (QUT) as well as a Master of Laws (Wills & Estates) (College of Law) and is a full member of the Society of Trusts & Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Kylee brings enormous technical knowledge and practical strategic planning to the practice of family law and estate administration, as well as providing supervision and guidance to the younger practitioners in both areas.

Kylee has a sensitive and sympathetic nature which helps to put clients who are experiencing some of the most difficult times in their life at ease.  She provides advice and guidance which allows them to work through the issues they are facing and make well informed and timely choices to achieve the best outcome possible.

In her spare time Kylee enjoys spending time with her husband and children, travel, listening to music from all nations and practicing Kendo.

Kristen Mitchell-Scott

Kristen holds dual degrees in Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Japanese and Criminology, from the University of Queensland, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. She is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, which are essential to practice Family Law. She is continuing her specialised postgraduate study in the area of Family Law at the College of Law.

Kristen practices exclusively in Family Law, with some previous exposure to Wills, Estates and Conveyancing. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge in the area of Succession Law.

Outside of work, Kristen loves spending time with her family and friends, reading, attending live concerts of her favourite artists (celebrating her eclectic taste in music) and all things Japan, having travelled there several times and even attending High School there for a brief period of time.

Sally Cree

Sally Cree

Solicitor

Sally assists our family law clients navigate divorce, property settlements and child arrangements. She enjoys helping clients find solutions and understand their legal rights and obligations through an often emotional and distressing time.

Sally started with our firm in 2017. In 2020 Sally completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the Queensland University of Technology. She then received a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law and was admitted as solicitor to both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2021.

Outside of work, Sally is involved in her local church community where she currently volunteers as a youth leader. She is a dog lover, enjoys watching cricket, has a large houseplant collection and will never say no to a cup of tea.
